Mayhaw trees are an old-time Southern favorite. These mayhaw trees are native, and are vigorous growers. Produces prolific white blooms in the Spring. Fruit ripens mid-April to May (thus the name). Grows in a wide variety of soils and sites, including wetter soils and shady spots, although best production is achieved on upland, sunny sites. Mayhaw trees can grow and produce fruit for over 50 years. Disease resistant. Zones 7-9.

Native from eastern Texas to Florida. These particular trees are Crataegus opaca and they're beautiful and well-adapted.
