Champanel is a disease resistant hybrid grapevine that thrives in Texas and across the South. It tolerates humid climates and alkaline soils, producing vigorous vines and hearty grapes. Due to its disease resistance, it can usually be grown without fungicide sprays. The grapes are good for fresh eating, wine, and jellies. USDA zones 6-10. Champanel is one of our favorite grapes to grow!
