Karla Rose is a red skin, white fleshed freestone nectarine that is large, juicy, and sweet. It is one of the more cold hardy nectarine varieties and it is more tolerant of late frosts than other varieties of late frosts. It ripens in June. It requires 500 chill hours and it does well in USDA zones 5-8.
