Korean Giant is an excellent Asian pear, producing huge pears that may weigh up to a pound. It has some fire blight resistance and requires a pollinator (such as Shinko, Hosui, Shinseiki, Chojuro) for production. This is one of the easiest Asian pears to grow. It grows well in USDA Zones 5-9, and needs 400-500 chill hours. The pears are juicy and sweet and big!
