The Moonglow pears are red and green, and have an excellent sweet flavor. Fruits are medium sized, crispy, and juicy. Ripens in late August. Fireblight resistant. Very attractive fruit. Best fruit set when pollinated by another pear tree (such as Bartlett, Kieffer, Orient, Monterreywild pear). 500 chill hours. Zones 5-9.
