Pink Lady apples originated from a breeding program in Australia. They are just about our favorite apples! The trees are extremely drought and heat tolerant, and the fruit is sweet, with a slight tangy taste. Pink Lady apples are sold in supermarkets all over the U.S., and these apples thrive in the climate of the southern states! Needs about 400 chill hours. Does not tolerate temperatures below 5 degrees. Zones 7-9. Pollinates best with Granny Smith, Gala, Enterprise, Fuji, Honeycrisp, Jonathan, Red Delicious, Southern Crabapple.
