The Russian pomegranate produces large fruit and is considered one of the sweetest pomegranates. It’s is also cold hardy, avoiding some of the die back we see with other varieties when the temperature gets into the single digits. As if that weren’t enough, it is also heat and drought tolerant once established. Self-pollinating. USDA zones 6-10. Very nice flowers. 2-3' trees
